Privacy policy

Last updated 2 November 2026

Analyst Radar has no user accounts and does not ask for your name, email address or any other personal details to use the site. This policy explains the little data that is processed when you visit, and covers the information notice required by Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who is responsible

The data controller is the operator of Analyst Radar. Contact for any privacy question or request: [email protected].

What is processed, and why

  • Technical request data. When your browser loads a page, our servers and hosting providers receive technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. It is used only to deliver the page, keep the service secure and prevent abuse, and is kept in server logs for a short time (at most 30 days). Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)).
  • Error reports. When a page or one of our services fails, a report is sent to Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.; data stored in the EU). It contains the error, the page address and your browser type. We do not send IP addresses, cookies or what you typed into search, and Sentry is set not to store IP addresses. Reports are kept for up to 90 days. Legal basis: legitimate interest in fixing faults.
  • Visit statistics. We count page views and a few actions (for example opening a stock page or following a report link) with Umami (data stored in the EU). Umami uses no cookies and stores no IP addresses or identifiers that could recognise you; search text is removed before sending, and browsers that send “Do Not Track” are not counted. Statistics are kept for up to six months. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used.
  • Advertising. The site is funded by ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see them and measure them, and, where you allow it, to personalise them. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland these cookies are used only with your consent, which you give or refuse in the consent message and can change at any time under “Privacy choices” at the bottom of every page. Without consent, Google shows non-personalised ads. Google acts as an independent controller for this data; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); KVKK Art. 5(1)) where required.
  • Settings in your browser. Choices such as the colour theme, chart indicators and extra table columns are saved only in your own browser and never sent to us. See the cookie and storage policy.
  • Emails you send us. If you write to us, we use your address and message only to answer you and keep them for as long as needed for that (at most two years).

We do not sell personal data, build profiles of visitors, or make automated decisions that affect you.

Who receives data

Only the service providers named above (hosting, Sentry, Umami and Google for advertising), each for its own purpose, and authorities where the law requires it. Some of these providers are based in, or may process data in, countries outside Türkiye and the European Economic Area, including the United States. Such transfers rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, and, for Türkiye, on the mechanisms in Article 9 of the KVKK.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and Article 11 of the KVKK you can ask whether data about you is processed, get a copy, have it corrected or deleted, object to or restrict its processing, learn who it was shared with, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Because we hold almost no data that identifies you, we may need a few details (for example the time of your visit) to find it. Write to [email protected]; we answer within 30 days. You may also complain to your data protection authority: in Türkiye the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK), in the EU the authority of your country.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly process their data.
